If any peeling, blistering, or chipping results from our workmanship within two years of project completion, we come back and fix it — at no charge to you. No debate. No runaround.

    Subject to the limitations set forth below, for a period of two years from the date of completion of the work described in your project contract, The Painting Pro Guys, LLC will repair any peeling, blistering, or chipping paint on covered surfaces that results from defective workmanship by our crew. This warranty is issued in writing at project completion and applies to the original customer named on the project contract.

    If you believe you have a valid warranty claim, contact us as soon as you become aware of the issue. Do not attempt to repair the affected area yourself before contacting us, as this may affect our ability to evaluate and honor the claim.

    Have a copy of your original project contract and proof of full payment available for our records.

    We will schedule an on-site inspection within 5 business days of your claim. You must make the property accessible to our team to inspect and perform any warranty work.

    We Handle the Rest

    If the defect is covered by this warranty, we will schedule and complete the repair at no labor charge to you. The cost of paint and materials required to perform the repair is not covered by this warranty.

    Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

    This 2-year workmanship warranty does not cover all situations. The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

    Work where The Painting Pro Guys did not supply the paint or materials
    Work performed by any party other than The Painting Pro Guys crew
    Varnished or lacquered surfaces
    Galvanized metal surfaces
    Cost of paint and materials needed for repairs
    Horizontal surfaces where moisture can collect (decks, railings, porches, roofs)
    Exact paint color match after environmental exposure
    Manufacturing defects in paint or materials
    Bleeding from knots, rust, cedar, or tannins
    Cracks in drywall, plaster, or wood substrates
    Ordinary wear and tear or abnormal use
    Peeling of paint layers existing prior to our work
    Structural or design defects, settling, or movement
    Moisture infiltration from substrate or construction defects
    Nail pops, siding imperfections, or pre-existing surface defects
    Mechanical damage, abrasion, or cleaning damage
    Damage from fire, flood, extreme weather, vandalism, or acts of God
    Alterations or repairs made by anyone other than our crew after project completion

    Additionally, mill-glazing from smooth cedar siding — a condition where the wood surface repels paint due to its factory surface — is not covered. We assess for this condition at the estimate stage and advise accordingly.

    Additional Warranty Terms

    Non-Transferable

    This warranty applies only to the original customer named on the project contract. It is not transferable to subsequent property owners or occupants. If you sell or transfer ownership of the property, this warranty does not pass to the new owner.

    No Incidental or Consequential Damages

    In no event shall The Painting Pro Guys, LLC be liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind arising out of or relating to this warranty or the work performed. Our liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the labor cost of repairing the defective workmanship on the affected surface, not to exceed the original contract price.

    Not Alterable Without Written Agreement

    This warranty may not be altered, extended, or modified unless done so in writing and signed by an authorized representative of The Painting Pro Guys, LLC. No verbal representations by any crew member or representative shall expand or alter the scope of this warranty.

    Governing Law

    This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under this warranty that is not subject to the arbitration agreement in our Terms of Use shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Dallas County, Texas.

    State Law Rights

    This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so certain limitations above may not apply to you.

    Frequently Asked Questions About Our Warranty

    Does the warranty cover both interior and exterior painting?

    Yes — the 2-year workmanship warranty covers all painted surfaces completed by our crew under your project contract, both interior and exterior, subject to the exclusions listed above.

    Does the warranty cover the paint itself?

    No — the warranty covers defects in our workmanship. Manufacturing defects in the paint are the responsibility of the paint manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer's own product warranty. We use only premium Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore paints, both of which carry their own manufacturer warranties.

    What if I notice an issue just after the 2-year period?

    Contact us regardless. If the issue appears to be workmanship-related, we will evaluate it on a case-by-case basis and do everything we reasonably can to make it right, even outside the formal warranty period. We stand behind our work and our reputation.

    Will the repaired area match the rest of the surface exactly?

    We will make every effort to match the original color as closely as possible. However, all paints experience some degree of color shift due to UV exposure, aging, and environmental conditions. An exact color match after two years of exposure cannot be guaranteed and is not covered by this warranty.

    Is payment required before the warranty is issued?

    Yes — this warranty applies only to projects for which payment has been made in full. The warranty is issued in writing at project completion, following your final walkthrough sign-off.
